The symbols on our school coat of arms represent Pretoria (Voortrekker Monument), Johannesburg (masts of gold mines), and the stagecoach that historically connected the two cities. The school flag was designed by Dr. Frederick Brownell, who also designed the national flags of South Africa and Namibia. Its symbols include a stagecoach wheel and two quills, representing education.
